À TOI À MOI est un projet de mélangisme musical qui prouve, une fois n’est pas coutume, que la création artistique dépasse les frontières des états et leurs décisions politiques. The Eurosuite (London), Naguals (Sheffield), This Will Destroy Your Ears (Angresse) et Shoefiti (Paris) se sont amusés, pour le premier anniversaire du Brexit, à mélanger leurs univers pour créer un 4 titres à 28 mains, entre synth-pop, noise, new-wave et indie-rock. Cette joyeuse bande est partie d’un principe d’une simplicité et d’une efficacité déconcertante : chaque groupe a écrit les prémisses d’une chanson qu’il a ensuite envoyé à l’ensemble des participants pour que tout ce petit monde ajoute absolument tout ce qui leur passait par la tête sans avoir à justifier quoi que ce soit aux autres comparses. Pour les décisions finales, ils ont choisi de faire confiance à Wayne Adams qui a mixé le tout dans son Bear Bites Horses Studio à Londres, Will Killingsworth se chargeant du mastering au Dead Air Studio de Pelham, USA.

À TOI À MOI is a musical mixology project that proves, just this once won’t hurt, artistic creativity travels beyond borders and nations’ political decisions. For the first anniversary of the Brexit, The Eurosuite (UK), Nagual (UK), This Will Destroy Your Ears (FR) and Shoefiti (FR) mixed their worlds just for kicks, creating 4 tracks with all of their 280 fingers, ending up with songs ranging between synth-pop, noise, new-wave and indie-rock. This merry crew came up with a simple but oh-so-efficient plan: each band would write the premises of a song, which would then be sent to the others to have fun with. Anyone could add absolutely whatever was going through his or her mind without having to justify anything to the band coming up with the idea. For the final decisions, they placed their trust in the mighty Wayne Adams who mixed the tracks at his Bear Bites Horses Studio in London and Will Killingsworth who mastered it all at the Dead Air Studio in Pelham, USA.
